This experience is curated and selective, not an exhaustive academic history. Items marked “Research more” in the backbone are intentionally excluded from the launch narrative.

Trainpower Data Lab — Experiment 001 explores how Lagos helped shape the evolution and global movement of Nigerian popular music.
But the experiment is testing something larger: can fragmented information be transformed into structured, traceable intelligence that people can explore rather than simply read?
Instead of assuming a straight line from Afrobeat to Afrobeats, the system models the ecosystem through artists, eras, landmark tracks, cultural movements, milestones, relationships, evidence, and confidence.
